Childhood Designing
We are familiar with paper airplanes, paper boats, etc. Simple, aesthetic toys. In childhood times we make paper toys and we use it. Simply we are the manufactures and we are the customers. Interestingly I found a small Product Life Cycle in this toys.
The introduction stage
At first we will get n idea of making a toy from our parents since they are the first manufactures for us. then after looking that we will try to make it so many times. Failed completely(paper bending is not correct)….partial failure(symmetry is not correct)….Ahh yes we can adjust with that(till have some problems related to wings) …Okay fine its a perfect one. So lot of struggles.....
The growth stage
Yeah now we are crazy in making planes.Lot of lot of plans we will make in a short time in a perfect way and maybe we will share it with our friends, tries to give a training class of how to manufacture a paper plane etc.
The maturity stage
Here we will lose that curiosity in making the usual planes due the competition from new toys. We have 2 ways one is stop making planes and use another toys and the other way is the updations. Plane having more range, have more floating capacity, more speed etc. These updations can done by some small small design changes while making and this updations can run our plane furthermore but for a short period.
The decline stage
Its the end of our paper plane. The control of our mind will take in charge completely by new version toys and we will forget our old toy slowly.
