Cup design

This is a common tea cup that we use in our homes. Maybe you all know about this but I noticed it by today. In addition to an ordinary stainless steel cup, this has an add-on - A plastic coating. A simple coating around its peripheral provides a great feature that we can hold the cup even very hot coffee or tea in it, that is pouring inside the steel portion and we are holding the plastic coating. Plastic is not the best heat resistor but it's a better one. Also, we can give good artworks in this plastic and this gives an aesthetic look to our cup. One more thing, this is recyclable plastic and so we can use a lot of recyclable waste plastic for making this cup.

           I don't know who made this design. But in my eyes, it's a fantastic design, made by knowing the user's pain by holding a hot tea cup. Appreciating that unknown designer for his user-centered design.
